Over the years, we have seen a range of collaborations, building an expansive network and history for Laid Back. Scroll down to discover some of the standout moments.
XS-BASS collaborated with Jay Sean for the office RnB Remix for the chart topping track ‘ Tonight EP’ by Jay Sean.
XS-BASS collaborated as a ‘Hype MC’ for live events across the world with Panjabi MC. The two then collaborated in the studio with the Wizard on a new track ‘The Beat’ for the Urban Hip-Hop album ‘100 BPM’, released worldwide.
XS-BASS were commission by the Haliah Trust Charity to produce a track for the trust which enabled them to meet and compose the track with Jermaine Jackson who at the time was the charities ambassador.
XS-BASS collaborated with an American Rapper P-LIM who introduced MC Lyte and commissioned and collaboration for the calling which featured on the Urban Hip-Hop album ‘100 BPM’, which released worldwide.
XS-BASS and their counterparts in Vancouver “G” who pimps rides for a living was working with Jadakiss of D-Block, who introduced his team to us on our visit to Vancouver during our tour sponsored by stussy. Fahim of D-Block decided to jump on an XS-BASS and featured on the 100 bpm Album.
Nachual Records, the label that released ‘Beware of the Boys” also licensed the 1st Studio Album ‘Amplified’ by XS-BASS, the album three years later was digitally remastered and re-released on i-tunes via the © copyright holders Laid Back Records.

Lovers Anthem – The second track from the XS-BASS Amplified Album was further licensed to Germany on a compilation CD – Sound Trip to India which is available at all leading airports around the world.
Ajaa Nachle Instrumental is Licensed to Brit Writer Awards and used across their media platform.
XS-BASS collaborate, with guidance from Jermaine Jackson as the charity ambassador for the Halima Trust.
XS-BASS Studios, in Derby, were commissioned by Panjabi MC for the WWE project. Vocals by Kulvinder Johal and lyrics translated by Sukhi Bart for Track 8 of the WWE Album, Voices: WWE The Music, Vol.9.
Harj, XS-BASS started working with Panjabi MC at Daytimes back in the late 80’s early 90’s and then worked on Panjabi MC & Kuldip Manak’s Jatt Ho Gaya Sharabi to gain the initial studio experience.
